Ilkin is a student at Harvard College studying Statistics and Mathematics. His passion is applying advancements in statistics and machine learning to real-world problems for social good. At PredMed, Ilkin seeks to build and improve upon Bayesian models for suicide prediction.
Apart from his position at PredMed, Ilkin is also conducting research at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences under Milind Tambe, where his work focuses on computer vision applied to disaster response. More specifically, he is building a novel segmentation architecture for post-disaster damage assessment from multitemporal VHR satellite maps.
